Both GEOX DRAGON Drivers Nico Müller & Brendon Hartley are currently competing in ABB FIA Formula E’s “Race at Home Challenge,” a new eSports competition in partnership with UNICEF. They are racing alongside the entire Formula E to raise funds that will go towards protecting children around the world during the global Covid-19 crisis. Nico is racing from his home simulator in Switzerland, where Brendon is competing from his home in New Zealand.
Nico earned his first podium in Formula E last week in Round 2 of the Virtual Series after gaining six positions throughout sim-race to finish in third place. The Formula E Race at Home Challenge features two races, the main event for the Formula E race drivers, and a Challenge race where a field of the best sim-racers compete against influencers and special guests. Bulgarian sim-racer, Peyo Peev, took the overall win in last weekend’s Challenge race behind the wheel of a GEOX DRAGON Formula E car.
Round 3 will be broadcast this Saturday 09 MAY @ 07:30 PST on BBC, Eurosport, and Fox Sports 1, as well as being streamed live on Formula E’s official YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Twitch accounts.
